Gili Labak is a remote island located in the southeast of Madura Island. This island can be reached about 2 hours by small boat from Kalianget Port of Sumenep. Administratively this island is located in Talango sub-district, Sumenep, East Java, Indonesia.
This 5 hectares island is inhabited by less than 40 families. Their occupations are mostly fishermen, beside that they also do farming for corn and peanuts. This island has its own water supply.
Visiting this island you can see locals drying fish. People are very helpful and friendly to visitors. Its white sandy beach is still clean and inviting to be strolled along.
