This might be not so common for travelers to do cycling to Dieng Plateau. Mostly visitors just do the day tour to Dieng and even without even staying overnight at Dieng. If you access from Yogyakarta and do Dieng Tour for a day trip it might be very limited activities to do as Dieng Plateau is located about 3.5 hours drive from Yogyakarta.  Dieng Plateau is suitable for cycling and combined with soft trekking and also grandeur sunrise from Sikunir Hill.  This tour can be combined with other tour to Borobudur and Yogyakarta if you would like us to arrange the whole visit in Yogyakarta , Borobudur and Dieng Plateau.

Dieng Plateau Cycling 2 Days 1 Night

Day 1: Yogyakarta- Wonosobo
Pick up at 09.00 at your hotel in Yogyakarta and then drive 3 hours to Wonosobo. On the way visit Jumprit Spring, where Budhist Monks collect holy water for vesak ritual annually. Afterwards drive to Wonosobo and visit Menjer Lake to enjoy boating around the lake with bamboo raft. Check in hotel.

Day 2: Dieng Plateau Sunrise, Cycling and Soft Trekking (Breakfast Box)
Depart at 03.30 from hotel in Wonosobo and then drive to Sikunir Hill. Walk about 10 minutes to view point to watch the golden sunrise. Drive to Hindu Temple Complex to expect silver sunrise and afterwards drive to Jolotundo natural well. And then start cycling to Candradimuka Crater, Sileri Crater and Lake Merdada. Cycling to Sikidang Crater. And then cycle to the most popular view of Dieng Plateau, Lake Warna and Lake Pengilon which can be seen from Batu Pandang View Point. You will also have a change to soft trek to see both lake from Sidengkeng Hill which can be reached by 30 minutes trek. Afterwards return to Wonosobo. And then check out from hotel and drop you to Yogyakarta. ETA Yogyakarta: 19.00
