OVERVIEW :
This 14 Days trip over Java Island is a concise adventure. The trip will start from Jakarta and finish in Surabaya, East Java. You will visit its most popular volcanoes, panorama, amazing sunrise, the magical lake, the blue fire and many more. Borobudur Temple and Prambanan Temple as two must-visits monument in Java you will get to observe as well. The tour will be an overland tour using car. Let us know if you want to take train in some route such as Yogyakarta or Bandung. The itinerary is flexible, if you want to continue to Bali, this is also possible. DAY 1 : ARRIVAL JAKARTA
Upon arrival Soekarno-Hatta International Airport you will meet with your guide. And then transfer to hotel. Check in.
DAY 2 : JAKARTA CITY TOUR-BOGOR
After breakfast at hotel, afterwards check out. And then sightseeing around Jakarta to explore : Sunda Kelapa Traditional harbor, National Monument, National Museum, Istiqlal Mosque and visit Wayang Museum or puppet museum at old city area of Jakarta known as Old Batavia, where there are plenty of European style building. And then visit Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, an Indonesia Miniature to learn about the rich culture and tradition of Indonesia. Drive about 1 hour via Jagorawi Toll Road to Bogor City. Check in hotel.
DAY 3 : BOGOR-BANDUNG
After breakfast at hotel, afterwards check out. And then visit Bogor Botanical Garden the oldest botanic garden in Indonesia, with background of Mount Salak (2211m) , which houses thousands of plants species from palms, orchids and even Rafflessia arnoldii and Titan arum. Drive to Bandung which requires about 4 hours drive. On the way you will stop by at Puncak Tea Plantation to enjoy the panorama of wavy contoured of green tea plantation. Check in hotel in Bandung.
DAY 3 : TANGKUBAN PERAHU VOLCANO-BANDUNG CITY
This morning you will observe Tangkuban Perahu, which is situated about 1 hours drive from the city of Bandung. Tangkuban Perahu has 3 craters and you will visit 2 of the craters, Crater Ratu which no need trekking and Crater Domas which takes about 30 minutes walk. Continue with enjoying hot spring bath at Ciater Spring to rejuvenate. ANd then drive back to Bandung to visit historical places in Bandung, such as: 0 KM Bandung, Asia Africa Monument and Building, Great Mosque of Bandung, Satay Building, and if you like you can browse for various clothing at Bandung’s most famous factory outlet.
DAY 4 : KAWAH PUTIH -CIWEDEY-BANDUNG
Today you will visit Ciwedey Region which is situated approximately 1,5 hours via toll road. First place you will visit is Kawah Putih (translate : White Crater), created by Mount Patuha eruption that has beach like area at the bank of the crater and surrounded by unique vegetations. Afterwards visit Situ Patenggang Lake and Tea Plantation.Drive back to Bandung. On the way stop by at Cibaduyut leather handicraft home industry.
DAY 5 : BANDUNG-WONOSOBO
Today you will have long drive from Bandung to Wonosobo, a city situated right the the heart of Java Island. It takes about 7 hours drive. On the way you will be stopping at interesting places, such as Pekalongan city, one of Batik center on the north coast of Java. Check in hotel in Wonosobo.
DAY 6 : SIKUNIR SUNRISE TOUR-DIENG PLATEAU – BOROBUDUR
Depart at 04.00 from hotel to Sikunir Hill where you will enjoy sunrise with the beautiful panorama of Mount Sindoro, Mount Sumbing and other hills and mountain in the vicinity. After sunrise and taking photo, drive to Batu Pandang View Point to see Lake Warna and Lake Pengilon from above. Proceed to see bubbling crater of Sikidang Crater from closer distance and then visit Arjuna Temple Complex, which is believed to be the oldest Hindu Temple in Java. If you are lucky while visiting Dieng you can meet the children with natural dreadlock hair, a unique natural phenonemnon which can be found in Dieng and vicinity. Visit Lake Menjer, to enjoy boating around the lake and then overlooking Lake Menjer from Kahyangan Skyline point. Return to hotel, check out and then drive to slope of Mount Sumbing (3371 M) to visit Butuh Village with its houses built on extreme slope resembles village in Nepal that it is called as Nepal van Java. Check in hotel in Borobudur Temple area.
DAY 7 : BOROBUDUR TEMPLE-KETEP PASS-MERAPI LAVA TOUR
After breakfast and then explore Borobudur Temple to learn and observe its stupas and relief. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is known as the biggest Buddhist Temple in the world built in the period of Syailendra Dynasty in the 9th Century. Return to hotel, check out and then drive to Ketep Pass Point, where you can have closer look at two manor volcanoes here Mount Merbabu (3,142 M) and Mount Merapi (2,910 M). Proceed to see the beautiful Kedung Kayang Waterfall situated on slope of Mount Merapi. Drive to Kaliadem Village and ride 4WD Vehicle to explore the area where Mount Merapi eruption in 2010 destructed the area. Check in hotel in Yogyakarta City.
DAY 8 :CITY TOUR-PRAMBANAN TEMPLE
Today you will enjoy the historical city of Yogyakarta to see Sultan Palace complex which consists of : Sultan Palace, former royal bathing place and underground mosque. Afterwards and then visit Prambanan Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site consists of several temples where you can explore each temple. Return to hotel.
DAY 9 : YOGYAKARTA-MALANG
Today you will have a long drive from Yogyakarta to Mount Bromo area, which will take about 6,5 hours drive via toll road. Check in hotel. Visit interesting places in Malang, Rainbow Village and Blue Village, Tugu Park, Ijen Boulevard.
DAY 10 : MALANG- TUMPAK SEWU WATERFALL TOUR-PRONOJIWO
Check put and depart at 06.00 from hotel and then drive to Pronojiwo which is situated on slope of Mount Semeru (3600 M), the highest mountain in Java. Arrival Pronojiwo, pull on your water friendly foot wear where you will start trekking to the canyon where Tumpak Sewu Waterfall located. Afterwards continue to Goa Tetes, a karst cave hidden by waterfall to see the inside of stalactite and stalagmite. Afterwards visit Kapas biru Waterfall, am 800 meters high horsetail waterfall that can be accessed by trekking through canyon. Check in homestay in Pronojiwo
DAY 11 : PRONOJIWO- IJEN AREA
After breakfast and then drive long drive to Bondowoso, one of the gate city to Ijen Crater. On the way you can stop by at waterfall or beautiful mosque.
DAY 12 : IJEN BLUE FIRE TOUR – BROMO
Depart at 00.00 from hotel and then drive about 2 hours to Paltuding basecamp of Mount Ijen. Afterwards start trekking led by Ijen local trekking guide to the peak of Ijen Crater Rim which requires 60 minutes walk. And to see Ijen Blue Fire must walk to the crater which takes about another 60 minutes and we will provide gas mask. After seeing blue fire and then ascend again to the crater rim and enjoy panorama from sunrise point. Drive about 5 hours to Mt Bromo area. Check in.
DAY 13 : BROMO SUNRISE-SURABAYA
Wake up at 02.45. You will be picked up at 03.00 from hotel by guide and then ride 4WD vehicle to sunrise view point where you will be expecting one of the most beautiful sunrises with the panorama and Mount Bromo, Mount Semeru, and Tengger Caldera. After sunrise time, ride 4WD vehicle and drive to sea of sand where you will start walking to Mount Bromo crater rim. However if you do not want to walk, you can also ride horse which will be guided by horseman. Drive to Savannah and then return to hotel to have breakfast and then check out. Drive to Surabaya.
DAY 14 : TRANSFER OUT
