Visit the former capital of Majapahit Empire (12-15th Century) with remains of temples made of red bricks such as Kolam Segaran the giant pool, Tikus Temple, Brahu Temple, Bajang Ratu Temple, Wringin Lawang Temple and Museum. It is located at Trowulan, 1.5 hours from Surabaya. Trowulan is also the home of rock carving and metal brass home industries.
