MT TAMBORA –SATONDA-PINK BEACH 7 DAYS 6 NIGHTS

Day 1 : Arrival Bima- Bima Tour – Transfer Hotel (Lunch, Dinner)
Upon arrival Bima Airport, you will meet local guide. Afterwards drive to visit some places of interest in Bima. First you will be visiting Old Wooden Mosque, proceed to visit the cemetery of Bima royals located up the hill. And then continue to visit the village of weaving, you can see women working on the loom to make Bima weaving and you can even purchase as souvenir. And then drive about 1 hour to Uma Lengge, to see the traditional architecture of Lengge which is used as barn by the villagers. Check in hotel.

Day 2 : Bima-Doro Ncanga (20 m)– Post III (1825 m) (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Depart at 06.00 from hotel and then drive about 4 hours to Doro Ncanga Savannah located on slope of Mt Tambora. At the Gate of Doro Ncanga , the vehicle will be changed to 4WD. You will be having super bumpy drive for about 5 hours from the gate to Post III. You will be passing savannah view, volcanic rocks, and also cows and buffaloes grassing at the savannah. Sometimes you will be passing small forest and if you are lucky some monkeys can be observed as well. If you look back you can see the contrast color of the blue Saleh Bay with the green brownish savannah. Arrival at Post III you will be camping here.

Day 3 : Post III (1825 m) – Tambora Crater Rim /Summit (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Wake up at 01.30 Am, have hot drink and snack and then afterwards at 02.30, start hiking to the summit. The track is sandy and many gravels with elevation of 20-40 degrees. To reach the summit will take about 2.5 to 3 hours. Reaching the summit you can enjoy the sunrise and the caldera of Mt Tambora which erupted in 1815. You will be having breakfast at Post III. About 11.00 drive back to Doro Ncanga. Simple lunch enroute. Drive to Pancasila Village, another basecamp of Mt Tambora. Check in homestay. –

Day 4 : Satonda Island-Lake (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
At 09.00, check out. Drive about 30 minutes to Labuan Barat Beach and take speedboat Satonda Island. It takes about 30 minutes sailing to Satonda Island. Arrival Satonda Island and then trek for few minutes to see the salt lake in themiddle of the island, known as caldera from the eruption of Mt Satonda which is older than Tambora. And then enjoy free activities at the beach and snorkel. After lunch and then sail back to Labuan Barat Beach , and then drive about 5-6hours to Bima. Enroute stop by at spring water nearby the beach at Hodo. Check in hotel in Bima.

Day 5 : Bima-Sape-Pink Beach-Tanjung Mariam-Pulau Kelapa (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Depart at 07.00 from hotel and then drive about 1.5 hours to Sape Harbor. From there and then sail by boat to Pink Beach for snorkeling and swimming. Afterwards sail to Mariam Cape to see the unique formation of hexagonal rocks. Sail to Kelapa Island where you can see the beautiful small islets . Camping at Kelapa Island.

Day 6 : Pulau Kelapa-Pulau Ular-Sape Harbor-Bima (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
After breakfast and enjoy the sunrise and then sail to Pulau Ular, known as the home of thousands of snakes. No need to worry as the snakes are tame and you will be accompanied by local guide. Return to Sape Harbor and then drive back to Bima.
