JAVA OFF BEATEN TRAIL
Mount Kelud, Mount Bromo, Mount Penanggungan, Tumpak Sewu Waterfall

OVERVIEW:
This trip in definitely an off beaten trail. You will be taking to Mount Bromo,the must visit volcano in Indonesia. And you will also be exploring the major mountains slope of Java, such as Mount Semeru, Mount Arjuna, Mount Penanggungan and Mount Kelud that has some places to rediscovered. This tour is family friendly, and senior citizen friendly. The trip is not just explorinf but also observing and learning the history of Java, especially East Java. ITINERARY:
Day 1: ARRIVAL SURABAYA-MALANG
Upon arrival at Juanda International Airport Surabaya, you will be picked up by tour guide. Transfer to Malang via toll road highway which takes about 1,5 minutes. Upon arrival Malang and then sightseeing to this education city. There are some places of interest in Malang such as; Rainbow Village, Arema Blue Village, Ijen Boulevard, and Tugu Park. Check in hotel.
Day 2: MALANG-GUNUNG KELUD
After breakfast and then check out and drive about 1 hour to Kediri region where Mount Kelud located. Walk to the view point of Mount Kelud. When weather is good you can see other peaks in East Java. Visit Kampung Durian to try Durian of Kediri region. Visit Hot Spring and then visit Karanganyar Tea Plantation to try local coffee. Drive to Blitar City. Check in hotel
Day 3: BLITAR TOUR
After breakfast and then check out. Visit Penataran Temple , a Hindu temple which was built in the 12th Century. And then pay a pilgrimage to the resting place of Indonesia’s first president, IR .Soekarno. Drive to Kawisari Coffee Plantation to enjoy soft trekking through the plantation. Drive back to Malang. Check in
Day 4: BROMO TOUR-TUMPAK SEWU
Depart at 00.00 from hotel to Tumpang Village, and then change vehicle to 4WD and enjoy bumping ride to Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park. Wait for sunrise from Mt Penanjakan 1 View Point, where you can see the magical view of sea of sand, Mount Semeru, Mount Bromo and Mount Batok, sometimes covered by mysterious mist. After sunrise and take photograph and then drive to sea of sand and then soft trekking to the peak of Mt Bromo and get closer look of the crater. Return to 4WD and then drive back to Tumpang Village and stop by at whispering savannah. From Tumpang village and then drive about 2 hours to Pronojiwo, the land of Waterfall. Enjoy the view of Tumpak Sewu Waterfall from view point. Drive to Ciblungan Waterfall, multiple waterfall that stream down into a natura pool where you can enjoy rejuvenating bathing in the water. Return to Malang.
DAY 5: MALANG-PENANGGUNGAN-SURABAYA
After breakfast and then check out. Drive to slope of Mount Arjuna and visit Taman Safari Prigen, an ex situ wildlife conservation where you can see various animals including Komodo Dragon. Drive to slope of Mount Penanggungan to visit some historical building with its holy spring. First you will be visiting Sumber Tetek Temple, a spring temple with two goddesses statties from the 11th Century, and then drive to Jolotundo Holy Spring Temple which was built in the 10th Century by King Udayana for the birth of his son, Airlangga. Enjoy the rice terrace in Seloliman area and then drive to Surabaya.
DAY 6: TRANSFER OUT
Free program until we transfer you back to airport. End of service.
