Madura Odyssey : Day Tour from Surabaya

OVERVIEW:
This day trip will take you not to escape, but to see more of Surabaya vicinity. This is a full day tour to explore this island known as Island of Salt, Madura. As it is a dry region, there are limestone and you will be visiting the abandoned white and red limestone mine, that accidentally create unique structure like from movies. You will also see the culture of pilgrimage to pay respect to Madurese royals. And sure you will try local duck menu.

ITINERARY:
Pick up at your hotel in Surabaya at 08.00 and then drive about 30 minutes to SURAMADU BRIDGE to cross to Madura Island, stop by to photo stop at Bangkalan Madura to photograph Suramadu Bridge. And then continue to visit some interesting places in Madura:
-BUKIT PELALANGAN AROSBAYA : an abandoned brown soil mining that has some interesting structure where you can take some instagrammable photos
-If you like you can visit AIR MATA IBU : Royal Tomb cemetery which is one of pilgrimage destination
-GEGER FOREST to enjoy view of Madura from above, to reach the peak must walk through steps for about 30 minutes
Here you will meet grey monkeys and sometime s squirrel. At the peak there is a Madurese Princess tomb, Potre Koneng.
-Lunch with Madurese Duck Menu at Bebek Sinjay
-JADDIH HILL : Limestone Hill that is mined until today and this creates some interesting structure
