OVERVIEW:
This 5 Days 4 Nights itinerary will take you to the 3 valleys in Lore Lindu National Park : Napu Valley, Besoa Valley and Bada Valley. You will observe local tradition, endemic wildlife and off course the historical sites from the megalithic period which are scattered around the national park. The trip will be long, some bumpy road. Let us know if you want to have custom tour around Central Sulawesi or other areas of Indonesia.
HIGHLIGHTS:
PALU-BESOA VALLEY-LAKE TAMBING-BADA VALEY-PALU
DAY 1 :ARRIVAL PALU (L/D)
Upon arrival Palu you will be taken to see some interesting spots in Palu such as: Peace Gong, Balaroa Memorial Wall, Traditinal House, Floating Mosque.
STAY : PALU CITY
DAY 2 : PALU-MEGALITH SITE TOUR (B/L/D)
After breakfast and then check out. Drive to he outskirt of Lore Lindu National Park for some interesting histrical sites.
TADULAKO MEHALITH SITE : This site
POKOKEA MEGALITH SITE :This site has various megalithic we can see, such as Kalamba, Kalamba lid, statues, dakon, mortar, altar. They are scattered on the hill where.
TADULAKO MEGALITH SITE :This site has statue local called as Tadulako and the historical icon of Central Sulawesi
TAMBI TRADITIONAL HOUSE : Visit the traditional house which is called as Tambi. For group of minimum 10 people a traditional dance of Central Sulawesi can be arranged in a village.

DAY 3 : LAKE TAMBING-POSO-TENTENA (B/L/D)
Breakfast on box, check out at 05.30 from hotel to Lake Tambing. Explore Lake Tambing which has 260 birds species and 30% of them are endemic birds. After lunch, drive via shortcut to Poso City and proceed to Tentena which takes about 3 hours drive.

DAY 4 : TENTENA-BADA VALLEY MEGALITH SITE-TENTENA (B/L/D)
After breakfast and then drive about 3 hours to some megalithic sites:
-PALINDO/MOLINDO MEGALITHIC SITE: This megalithic statue is the icon of Central Sulawesi as the land of thousand megalithic. Palindo literally means entertainer, in local language and it is the biggest megalithic statue discovered in the region.walking, some site will only be accessed by walking.
-BETA’UA WATERFALL: is a 10 meters high waterfall, which can be reached by walking approximately 50 minutes only from the parking area. The waterfall has natural pool that you can enjoy swimming.
-SUSO MEGALITH: This site has statues and as well some big Kalamba which are situated scattered in the area. Kalamba is known a big stone bowl to place bones of dead bodies after it was buried somewhere else for years. Some people also said that some Kalamba are used as water container. This site can be reached by following the paved walking path.
-ALIEN HEAD-LIKE MEGALITH: You will be dropped as close as possible at the rice field. And then walk about 15 minutes through the rice field. This megalith does look like a gigantic head of alien. On its head is decorated by carving and holes which are estimated as the mean to calculate seasons and astronomy.
-LOGA MEGALITH: A megalith statue situated on a hill.
-TOMEHIPI VILLAGE: Here you will visit hanging bridge, hot spring and traditional house which is called Tambi. Return to Tentena.
STAY : TENTENA
DAY 5 : TENTENA-PALU (B/L)
After breakfast, check out and drive to Palu which takes about 9 hours drive. Drop to your hotel in Palu. End of service.

SOUTH LORE : You will stay in simple accommodation. Bathroom is inside. Bring your toiletries and towel.
TENTENA : Hotels and bungalow resorts are available in the city
WHAT TO BRING:
-Toiletries and towel for Bada valley accommodation
-Trekking shoes or water friendly footwear as some paths are sometimes wet due to rainy season
-Wear long pants and socks to avoid sharp grass hurt your leg skin
-Hat and sunscreen
-Raincoat especially on rainy season as it takes walking and you will be riding motorbike to the places in Bada Valley

-Bugs repellent for trekking
