Kalimantan Borneo : Wild Orangutan Observation Tour 3 Days 2 Nights

Day 1: BALIKPAPAN-SANGATTA (L,D)
You will be picked up at Balikpapan Airport of Hotel in Balikpapan. Afterwards drive approximately 6 hours to Sangatta. Overnight: MORIO JUNGLE LODGE

Day 2: SANGATTA- KUTAI NATIONAL PARK (B,L,D)
After breakfast and then sail about 30 minutes upstream by motorized canoe to the lush rainforest of Kutai National Park. Check in at Jungle Lodge which is located at river bank in Camp Kakap and then directly start jungle trekking to observe for wild orangutan and other wildlife. Afternoon, return to lodge and rest. Late afternoon, do another trek to see more of wildlife and experience the flora and fauna in this rainforest. Dinner will be served at the lodge. Overnight: MORIO JUNGLE LODGE

Day 3: KUTAI RESERVE- DELTA SANGATTA RIVER-BALIKPAPAN/SAMARINDA(B,L,D)
Today you will cruise by motorized canoe through the mangrove forest at the delta of Sangatta River where you can spot some wildlife, such as longnose monkey, birds, crocodiles and other faunas. Return to Sangatta for lunch and then transfer to Balikpapan/Samarinda. And drop you to your hotel. End of service.

ABOUT THE LODGE 
Morio Jungle Lodge is located inside Kutai National Park. It has humble wooden room with shared bathroom, cold water, and electricity available in the evening only. Rooms is equipped with fan with 2 mattresses, pillow and blanket. From this lodge you can see, feel and hear the sound of the jungle.

-Flashlight or Torch
-Dry bag
-Sleeping Bag (if you prefer)
-Personal Hygiene, Towel,Soap etc
-Waking Shoes

TRAVEL TIME TO KUTAI NATIONAL PARK 
Balikpapan-Sangatta : 6-7 hours drive
Samarinda-Sangatta : 4 hours drive
Sangatta-Camp Kakap : 30 minutes sailing

HOW TO GET TO KUTAI NATIONAL PARK 
You can take flight to Balikpapan Airport or Samarinda Aiport, the nearest entry gate to Kutai National Park, East Kalimantan
