Hotel Tugu Malang

Hotel Tugu Malangis a luxurious hotel situated in the center of Malang old town, overlooking to the Indonesia struggle independence monument and facing a mesmerizing lotus pond park.    Raden Saleh Suite :

The suite set in 19th century ambiance, furnished and decorated with antiques from 1850s. A reproduction painting of fighting with lion by Raden Saleh, an Indonesian paniter, hung on its wall. The Suite has living room. Beautifully carved tables influenced by Arabic style and two old morrors border the entry to the living room. The bed is oversize and decorated with brass antique from 1850s and draped with mosquito net.

   Zamrud of East Java Suite :

This Suite has a luxury traditional Javanese touch, with East Java furniture and artworks. Each of Zamrud Suite has different interior layout and decorations, yet all are equipped with antique beds and furnishing.
   Babah Suite:

This Suite has a mix atmosphere of Javanese and Chinese originated from the descendants of Babah, mix culture yielded from Javanese-Chinese migrants marriage. This 19th century atmosphere suite furnished with antique bed and furniture originated from Babah families that traveled in Java in that period.
   Honey Moonlight Suite:

Located on the third floor and facing the “Jan Pieterszoon Coen Plein“, this suite has a romantic outdoor area, a perfect place for a candlelit dinner under the moon and the stars, facing the alun-alun Tugu, or the ‘piazza’ in front of the hotel. The suite features an intimate and romantic interior setting which is popular among honeymooners.
  The Devata Suite

This suite has spacious room, and just like other rooms, it is equipped and furnished with wooden furniture. The bedroom wall is decorated with typically Indian painting and the wall is painted in soft color.
   Executive Suite :

Each of Executive suite has living room. The room is decorated nicely with wooden furnishing dominating.The wooden bed is draped with mosquito net.

   Superior Delux

This Deluxe offer a nice stay with veranda overlooking the garden. The room is dominated in wooden but with more minimalist style. The wall is painted with soft color emphasizing the warm feel.

-Waroeng Shanghai 1920 is a replica of a simple waroeng/coffee bar at Batavia harbor that was owned by a Babah Chinese man Chan Mo Sang and his Batavia wife Siti Djaenab. It is decorated with long bench, antique barber chair, and old posters of Shanghai girls in early 1990s.
