Monument Nasional (Monas), a 132 meters monument with a burning fire made of gold in the peak is the icon of Jakarta, here visitors can see Jakarta from the monument by lift.
National Museum: which displays artifacts from ethnics in Indonesia, including traditional costumes, instruments, and traditional house architecture also some copper works from the era of kingdoms in Indonesia.
Old Batavia is an old city of Jakarta where there are Dutch colonial building. Here you can visit Fatahillah Square known as Jakarta Historical Musem. Afterwards visit Wayang Museum or puppet museum, where you can see various puppet from all over Indonesia and also other countries.
Sunda Kelapa Harbor: Located not far from Old Batavia, nestled on the old traditional harbor which existed since 14th Century. The harbor now is inter-island traditional boat harbor. Phinisi schooners from Makasar which is brightly painted is still an important transportation means transporting goods to and fro the outer islands, creating a magnificent view.
