BALLON FESTIVAL 2027-BOROBUDUR-PRAMBANAN-YOGYAKARTA

OVERVIEW :
Balloon festival in Wonosobo is famous for its mesmerizing sky panorama soaring colored by vibrant balloon. Everyday after Hari Raya, there will be festival in every district in Wonosobo. Yes, there will be crowd but you will not regret. This trip is suitable for photographer or videographer. Guide will take you to festival and navigate to take good shot. And not just that, to avoid the crowd during this festive season, the following program will take you to must visit places as well to an off-beaten-trail. We offer staying in Borobudur, as it is less crowded that the city of Yogyakarta. ITINERARY :
DAY 1 (16 MAR 2027) : ARRIVAL YIA-WONOSOBO
Upon arrival Yogyakarta International Airport and then drive about 2.5 hours to Wonosobo. If still have time visit some interesting places enroute or in the city.

DAY 2 (17 MAR 2027) : BALLOON FESTIVAL-WONOSOBO TOUR-BOROBUDUR
At 05.00-10.00, depart to the venue where Balloon festival take place. Prepare with your drone and camera. Afterwards visit Water Reservoir on slope of Mt Sindoro and visit Lake Bedakah. Visit Gunung Cilik to enjoy beautiful view of tea plantation and Mt Sindoro. Drive to Borobudur area.

DAY 3 (18 MAR 2027) : BOROBUDUR SUNRISE – SELOGRIYO
Depart at 04.00 from hotel to Borobudur Temple to enjoy sunrise from Borobudur Temple. Learn about the relief, history, architecture of Borobudur Temple. Breakfast. Drive to Selogriyo Village, to enjoy rice terrace and soft trekking to Selogriyo Temple. After lunch, drive back to Borobudur. Drive VW to home industries, village, and chicken monument.
STAY : SARASWATI BOROBUDUR

DAY 4 (19 MAR 2027) : YOGYAKARTA-PRAMBANAN-LAVA TOUR
Depart at 08.00, drive to the city of Yogyakarta. Visit Sultan Palace and Taman Sari. Afterwards visit Prambanan Temple Complex, the biggest Hindu Temple in Indonesia and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Drive to slope of Mount Merapi, for an off beaten path jeep ride through narrow trail, lost city, far, forest and river.

DAY 5 (20 MAR 2027) : TRANSFER OUT
Free program until we transfer you to airport.
