Samboja Lestari Park & Reserve is rehabilitation center for Bornean Orangutan, sun-bear sanctuary and rainforest restoration project. here is a lodge located inside the jungle run by Semboja Lestari. When visitors stay at the lodge, they contribute to orangutan conservation. A tower overlooking the jungle is also built here.

SAMBOJA LESTARI ORANGUTAN CONSERVATION TOUR 2 DAYS 1 NIGHT

Day 01: BALIKPAPAN-SAMBOJA LESTARI RESERVE (L,D)
You will be picked up by guide at Balikpapan airport. And then transfer to Samboja Lestari passing rainforest by driving 4WD vehicle. Check in at Samboja Lodge and observe Samboja from tower. And then trek through forest to observe orangutan and sun-bears in their rehabilitation before released back into the wilderness. Lunch and Dinner will be served at the lodge.

Day 02: SAMBOJA LESTARI RESERVE-BALIKPAPAN (B)
After breakfast, and then trek through the forest. Check out and drive back to Balikpapan. Drop you to hotel or airport. End of service.
