OVERVIEW:
This 4 days tour will take you to the new Nusantara Capital of Indonesia (IKN) and you will also observe the endemic animal of Kalimantan Island: Orangutan and Long Nose Monkey (proboscis monkey). This tour is more than highlight for Balikpapan. And it is suitable for children and family or small group.

ITINERARY
DAY 1 : BALIKPAPAN-SAMARINDA
Upon arrival Balikpapan City and then drive about 2 hours to Samarinda. Upon arrival Samarinda and then get on boat to enjoy river cruising. Check in hotel.
STAY : HOTEL HORISON SAMARINDA

DAY 2 : SAMARINDA-IKN-SAMBOJA (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)
In the morning at 07.00, check out and then drive about 2.5-3 hours to Nusantara Capital (IKN) with its iconic Garuda bird building. Drive about 1.5 hours to Samboja. And then have lunch. Check in and Rest.
At 16.00, visit Orangutan Island at Samboja Lestari, a man made orangutan to preserve orangutan. And then visit sunbaear sanctuary which houses more than 75 rescued sun bears. Visit the tower where you can see the aerial view of Samboa Lestari forest. Return to lodge
STAY : SAMBOA LODGE

DAY 3 : SAMBOJA-BENGKIRAI HILL-SUNGAI WAIN (BREAKFAST)
After breakfast and then plant tree in Samboja Lestari. Check out. Drive about 45 mins to Bengkirai Hills, where you will have about 20-30 mins trekking to canopy bridge and enjoy panorama from the 25 meters high canopy bridge. Drive to Balikpapan. Check in.
At 16.00 drive to Sungai Wain where you will have a guided tour to learn and observe wildlife of Wain River: crocodile and proboscis monkey.
STAY : GRAND TJOKRO BALIKPAPAN

DAY 4 : MANGROVE CENTER (BREAKFAST)
At 05.00 drive to Mangrove Center of Balikpapan, where you will ride boat through the magical vast serena mangrove forest. And you will get a chance to see the long nose monkey endemic to Kalimantan Island. Return to hotel. Breakfast and check out. Drop to airport.
