This cemetery is not visited by many travelers, well can be said that it is one of the Off the Beaten Path in Bali. It could be because of its location which is rather remote.

Itinerary:

Depart morning about 08.00 from your hotel in Denpasar /Kuta/Sanur and then drive about 3 hours to Trunyan Village located in Kintamani area of Bangli Regency. The village nestles at Lake Batur. On the way you can stop by at beautiful view of Tegalalang Rice Terrace, farms and Batur Lake View.  Arrival at the village then sail on a rowing boat to Trunyan Cemetery which will take about 15 minutes. You can take pictures of Trunyan cemetery area located under the shades on Trunyan tree, the magic tree which absorb the bad odor of the decomposed dead bodies. If still have time visit some spots such as: Ubud Palace, Ubud Market, Mas Village.
