Rammang Rammang is  a limestone mountain range located in Maros-Pangkep, about 2 hours drive from Makassar. It is known as the third biggest limestone range in the world, about 45,000 hectares. 

The local call it rammang rammang which means cloud as the cloud always appears in the area of the karst. People also call it as hutan batu or rock forest.  The rocks also scattered at rice field. Visitors can enjoy boating at rammang rammang and also there is a hiking trail here.
