En-route their trip, they unexpectedly met Joko Lelono who was attracted by the beauty of Dewi Anjarwati and he tried to get her love and took her away. Unavoidably, a fight between the two men occurred. Raden Baron asked his men to hide his wife at the waterfall or coban in Javanese. The fight kept going till both of them died. And Dewr Anjarwati became widow or rondo. And according to local story, the rock located in front of the waterfall was where Dewi Anjarwati waited for her husband. That’s why the waterfall is named Coban Rondo, the waterfall of a widow.
